Corney Vanhelden - Biography

Corney VanheldenCorney Vanhelden has been an entrepreneur his entire working life.

As a youth, he was a waiter and a newspaper boy.

Then he started a successful career in the Merchant Marine as a Deck Officer, rising to the position of Chief Officer when he left.

He sailed the Seven Seas, and you name any country and he has probably been there. After his sailing career, Corney’s entrepreneurial blood started to boil and when he saw an opportunity, he ventured into some successful businesses in real estate and insurance.

He made his real income in the software development industry, and was CEO of a software company in the Netherlands.

When he was “free” again, he followed his latest dream and founded the company Cornet Solutions UAB, an Internet company with several publications as ezines and books, as well as auto-responders and a search engine optimization consultancy.

WriterOnline.us was acquired in September 2004 and that has been turned around. A spin off is the Learning Centre with 27 courses for writers. This blog is a prelude to a membership site on Business Writing.

In his leisure time Corney is a Hot Air Balloonist and a well-known Competition Director for Hot Air Balloon Championships.
